Microsoft Office 2000 Update: Service Pack 2 Description

Office 2000 SP-2 provides the latest product updates to Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1). This latest service pack incorporates: an Outlook 2000 SR-1 update concerning email security; Word 2000 updates for proofing tools hyphenation and mail command security; an Office 2000 security update concerning HTML data; an Excel 2000 Security update for REGISTER.ID; an Excel/PowerPoint 2000 SR-1 update dealing with an HTML script vulnerability; an Outlook 2000 Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) update concerning security; and a Word 2000 mail merge security update. Note:: Before you install this update, make sure that you are currently using the SR-1 versions of all the Office 2000 applications that are installed on your machine.
