Omnisys SharePoint Lists Synchronizer Description

SharePoint Lists Synchronizer - Web Part

Web Part Features:

- Database connection through ODBC (Oracle, SQL, Access, etc.)
- Ability to define queries for selection of information
- Import data from database for items on the list
- Import data from database to a "choice"- type field
- Synchronization between lists on separated WSS sites
- Synchronization of a list from one site with all identical lists in the sites below (synchronization of lists' tree)
- Command line activation of synchronization file enables triggering through Windows Scheduled Tasks

Components:

- Synchronization Manager: Enables the System Administrator to define lists and tables in the databases, which will be used for the synchronization of each list. The synchronization definition is saved as an XML definition file.

- Synchronization Engine: Performs the synchronization according to the required XML definition file. The engine is operated by a command line and can run cyclically through Windows Scheduler.
