4Webcheck Description

Website integrity verification and availability monitoring software

Worried someone has tampered with your website? Concerned it may not be available?
4Webcheck is a straightforward utility to verify (at the byte level) pages on a web site to files on the local computer.

The program will compare single files, all files in a local folder or multiple sites and folders. It also provides an availability check and features a customer database for ease of use. Windows 98 or later.

Advanced easy to use interface
The interface permits click and go operation with default presets. Just point it at the web page and the local file and that's it. Various levels of operation allow comparison of single files, folders and multiple folders.

Easy functionality
It will compare any type of file and may be set to automatically run a comparison at selected intervals with an optional email alert.

User-Agent
The User-Agent may be set from the preferences menu to declare as a preset or custom setting.

Referer
The referer check facility may be used to identify if identical pages are served.

Link extraction
All links, local or non local references from a page are extracted.

Header display
The HTTP server header may be displayed for a domain's default or user specified page. The cookie element header may also be selected.
