AccountServer is International
Trade relations are international and borderless today. The graphical user unterface (GUI) of AccountServer can also be switched between English and German at any time.

Chart of Accounts
The chart of accounts uses three levels and can be structured to meet any legal regulations. Detail accounts can be grouped and totalled on two different levels. The sequence of accounts can be changed at any time. An assistant helps you to recognize errors in the structure right away.

Transaction Entry Form
The user-friendly transaction entry form allows for quick and easy posting to the general ledger. There are four different options of account selection:

- Select account from a list
- Enter account number
- Enter account description
- Select a standard transaction

Transaction Entry FormEnter just one single number or character and a list of possible accounts appears. This allows for a very easy account selection.

Standard Reports
There are a number of built-in standard reports like balance sheet and profit-and-loss statement (operating statement). The structure of the chart of accounts is reflected in these standard reports. The position of accounts and report line items can be changed at any time.

Open Items
You can mark transactions as open receivable, open payable or as general item that needs further research or action. Search for these open items and you will never loose control about your business.

Tax Entries
Tax entries like sales tax or value added tax transactions (VAT, GST) can be defined and automated. Changing the tax rate definitions does not require a program update.

Reporting with MS Access
The standard reports do not meet your reporting needs? The MS Access report designer allows for any report that is based on the account balances. Reporting with MS Access

Balance sheet, income statement or any other report can be designed exactly as you wish. You decide how the reports should look like. Legal reporting requirements can be easily met.

Define foreign currency accounts to handle all your foreign currency cash balances and transactions.

Year-End Closing of Books
Closing the books at the end of the financial year is very easy. Automatic Year-End EntriesThe books for the new financial year are opened automatically. Balances are carried over to the new year's balance sheet accounts. Moreover, you can update these balances several times and start working in the new year even though the previous years's books are not yet closed.

Network Capabilities
Of course, the Access database of AccountServer can be kept on a network server. Several accountants can access your financial data from their workstations.

Clients
AccountServer can manage various clients and their personal data. Even if you handle accounting records for several companies or entities, you will not loose control over your clients.

Standard Transactions
Define standard transactions to get rid of the routine work. There is no need to enter the very same transactions again and again. Select transactions from your transaction template and save time and money.
