AD-Browser is a simple tool to browse Microsoft Active Directory

AD-Browser is a simple tool to browse Microsoft Active Directory via the IDirectorySearch COM Interface. Compared to other Tools AD-Browser provides a List View of similar objects like computers, groups or users ...

Navigate

* view attributes and linked GPO's of selected OU
* search objects under selected OU (use object filter)
* find me as current domain user ()
* sort List View by each attribute ( )
* list group members (member or member;range button)
* see all belonging groups (memberOf button)
* use history buttons (visted OU's and used filters)

Properties

* view object properties with a right mouse click and see attributes
(name, value and typ e.g. new: SID as string)
* view GPO settings with a right mouse click
* Registry entries (machine, user)
* Folder redirection (user)
* Scripts (startup, logon, logoff, shutdown)
* Preferences (machine, user)

Export

* export Tree View in a TAB seperated file
* export List View in a TAB seperated file
* export Property View in a TAB seperated file
* export GPO HTML View in a HTM file
* export E-Mail address list (selected users)
* delete column with right mouse click to customize List View

Modify

* create new AD objects (ou, container, computer, group, user)
and specify typical attributes (e.g. c, co, description, displayName ...)
* modify AD objects (computer, group, user)
* change password for AD objects (user)
* delete AD objects
* manage AD groups (add and remove members)
show properties of group and edit member attribute

Import

* import objects from TAB separated Textfile
* download sample import.txt here to test this feature
