Aeo3 Pingo Description

A networking connectivity testing utility.

Installation is optional with Portable and Setup versions. Designed to be small with clean and simple user interface.

Very useful as an indicator for availability of the Internet, network devices, servers or printers in the Local Area Network or Wide Area Network.

It is always better and safer NOT to run a program your anti-virus has classified as unsafe, regardless of False Positive.

Aeo3 sometimes uses Executable Compression Packer to

• Create Portable program for flash-drive operation.

• Compress and decrease the overall program file size.

• Add all relevant Dynamic-Link-Libraries (Dlls) into a single program.
• This creates a single portable EXE with high compatibility on multiple Windows platforms.

• Encrypt the program with Checksum value to prevent third-party modification (e.g. Viruses).
• With Internal Integrity Validation, the program modified after release will not run.

Unfortunately False Positive do occur due to the way anti-virus company mistakenly identify a section of code that belongs to the Executable Packer (that virus creators also use) as malicious.

If that happens you, please let me know. I'll contact the Anti-Virus company to verify.

Aeo3 Pingo was originally created for my father as an easy indicator of internet connectivity, while alleviating some network annoyances. It has since been used by many to monitor network connectivity with servers or network printers in the office. The goal of this little project is to keep it simple, functional and FREE for you.
