Video surveillance application with recording, monitoring and face detection

The software has been designed as common product for surveillance cross platforms working all together with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras.

It has web interface with the similar appearance and controls on the local and apart computers. Users view MPEG coded video and have full management of the program through net that security pc can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached.

Program's modular composition drastically boosts reliability because all modules operate as independent applications. If one module fails, other modules go on running. For instance if the "capture" part stops working, "watchdog" restarts it right away that viewers don't notice anything because they are watching picture using a "playback" component.

The software does "repeated" recording that the "hard drive full" situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face detection, or by timetable.

The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on apart station via Web interface.

The program does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
