Manage your private book collection and comfortable on your computer

Select the desired book from different Internet databases (English, German, French) – high resolution cover picture inclusive – simply by entering title, author, publisher or by scanning the barcode EAN / ISBN. Electronics books as PDF-files, so-called eBooks, can be managed too.

The most important features are: full text search, grouped list-view, assignment of filters, categories, print, online-reviews, quotations, backup, lend/borrow and designable screen.

Bucharchiv is offered in different Editions. Choose one Edition which is most suitable to your needs for an optimal working, e.g. manage a private book collection at one computer with the Standard-Edition, access to one (password-protected) database from three computers or the professional usage in a public library (Enterprise-Edition).

With Bucharchiv you can manage your private book collection or library easy and comfortable on your computer. You need only a few seconds to find a book in the extensive Internet databases.

Enter title, author, publisher or EAN / ISBN-number by your barcode scanner and you get the results inclusive high resolution cover pictures. It's also possible to add a custom existing file of the cover picture. For that, Bucharchiv is an excellent tool to inquire for book-titles.

You can make a selective search for Audio books, paperbacks, magazines, special bindings, sheet music etc. Apply the corresponding books into your personal database and all important information like title, author, publisher, cover picture, EAN/ISBN-number etc. are added automatically. The description of content can be further processed in a text editor; format the text as you want.

If you include all your books into your personal database, you can browse within your database with the high-performance full-text search. You can list your books in different kind of groupings like alphabetical order, sorted by author, publisher, release year, personal rating etc. Number all books with the book-number (only numbers) or the archive-number (letters and signs are allowed).

Apply filters to each book (like already read, novel, specialized, advisable) to use the filter-function. All filters are self-defined. Further features of Bucharchiv are: assign categories, printing of single books or lists, export as Excel-file, download of online-reviews or write your own review, enter quotations, integrated backup-tool, lend and borrow and depending on the used Edition, User- and Address-Manager and a professional loan module.

With this loan module you can add your customers addresses, create individual ID-cards and with the customer number you can simplify lending several books to one customer. A receipt about all lent books will be created at the same time.
