Access and remotely control your home PC with simple commands sent by standard email

ControlByMail lets you access and remotely control your home PC with simple commands sent by standard email, such as viewing your home PC's desktop or webcam, launching applications, killing processes and performing virtual keystrokes and mouse actions. You can have your files and folders emailed to you, as well as images of websites (such as your Facebook account). In other words, you'll never worry about leaving important files behind again, and will be able to view websites at school or work without any restrictions!

ControlByMail is specialised software that was purpose-built to be used in severely locked-down or censored environments where disabled USB ports, firewalls, proxies and other security features are in place (such as schools, your workplace, government agencies, public libraries, and internet cafes). Below are some real-life scenarios of why ControlByMail is a must-have tool for you.

View websites at work.* You're at work and want to view your Facebook page, but your IT department has blocked access to Facebook, proxy websites, and other unauthorized websites. To view Facebook, you send an email home from your workplace email account, and ControlByMail sends back an image of your current Facebook page, complete with links that can also be viewed via subsequent emails.

Email any file to school.* You're at school and want to get an executable file (*.exe), such as a game, onto your school's PC but it has no floppy or DVD drive, all USB ports are disabled, and emails with executables get rejected. No problem: you send an email home from your school email account, and ControlByMail sends back the executable file in an attachment format that your school's email server won't reject.

Remote file access. You're overseas on business and suddenly realize a file you need is still at home. You send an email home from your laptop, and ControlByMail zips the file and emails it back to you, complete with password so only you can access it. ControlByMail can even search your files, and send back thumbnails of images and text previews of certain documents, so you'll always know which file is which.

Remote PC viewing. You want to see the current state of your home PC while you're away, so you send an email home and ControlByMail sends back a screenshot, a report showing stats such as disk and memory space, a list of available drives where you can access files, and a list of running processes and network connections. If you have a webcam connected, you will also get a snapshot from it.

Remote PC control. You email a DOS command home from your smartphone to see which applications are currently accessing the internet. If you see something that shouldn't be connected (a virus or spyware?), then you can send another email home to have ControlByMail kill its process. You can also email scripted keystrokes and mouse actions to your home PC, just as though you were physically there doing them yourself.
