Cylekx Description

A top photo editor. Does pixel and vector and animation. Ensure you have the latest release at http://www.cylekx.net/ Does Layers and Multiframes. Uses vector, binary, paletted, gradient, and argb image types. Includes wands, cloning, quantizing, user-writable filters, true alpha support, batch processing. Upcomming version will have a dedicated 6th graphic type for text.



Important note: The project file format is changing. Project files (.clx) made with any version up to and including version 3.0 will no longer be openable in future releases.

Standard :

* All images are opened as type int32 ARGB. Previously some images were automatically converted to 8bit gray on opening which we decided involved too much guesswork now that full transparency support exists
* "As Appears Merge" supports vector and text
* Improvements for managing history files include easy access to the local dir + automatic warnings
* Added "Copy" option to "vector shape modify by selection"
* Layers dialog now shows the image type

Pro :

* New graphic type for text. This text engine most of the usuall formattings, but it also supports features like rotated text, block initial character insets, graphical bullets, derived fonts, highlighting and drop shadow effects. Text graphics can be a color, gradient, or texture. Fills can also be outlined with various stroking options, or solid. Textboxes can be any shape and rotation and have a large variety of graphical designs. Text can flow from frame to frame or layer to layer
