Automate backing up files of your PC

D_back is a file backup tool for Windows, designed to automate backing up files of your PC, file server or Web server to any accessible devices and remote FTP servers.

This backup software will help you to protect your data from computer crashes, disc failures, accidental deletion, and ensure you will never lose any important information.

Main features

A wide choice of Data Sources:
You can back up files and directories from any accessible location such as: hard disks, network resources (UNC is supported), remote Web folders, or remote FTP servers. You can backup open files even when they are locked or in-use.

Backup storage devices:
Your data will be saved to any type of storage media: HDD, network drives, CD or DVD, USB Flash, Iomega Zip / Jazz drives. You can backup to remote location via FTP or WebDAV, or you can transfer backups via e-mail.

Flexible Backup Scheduler:
The software distribution kit includes scheduler and command-line backup utility. These tools will help you to set up automatic backing up and ensure that backups are done on a regular basis.

Easy Data Restoring:
You can easily start recovering lost data in just a few minutes. The recover process is flexible and simple. All you need is to select files or directories to be restored, and a location where to restore.

Fast Zip compression with Zip64 support:
As a rule D_back creates backups with compression in standard Zip format. The program can create zip files larger than 4Gb, Zip64 format is supported. Moreover you can switch off compression or you can plug in the program any external file compressor with command-line interface such as Winrar, 7-Zip and others.

Effective backup strategy:
You can always choose the most suitable data backup strategy from built-in backup types (Full, Stack, Advanced Stack, Incremental, Differential). You can customize your archive to store several versions of your files.

Clear diagnostics:
The program always saves the protocol of data processing to a log file, so you will never lose the result of backing up and you can explore it at any time. In addition D_back can notify you about backup activities via e-Mail.
