Desktop IRIS is an easy-to-use search program that can be successfully downloaded and accessed by anyone. It allows you to intuitively find stored information from your desktop and network without imposing any restrictions on the number of files and folder locations indexed. The system uses the same security model for the desktop and network operating systems, allowing full search capabilities across a wide range of information sources. In addition, it takes full advantage of an expandable and collapsible tree pane for a directory display and easy e-discovery.

The main features of Desktop IRIS are:

Email Support
It allows you to easily search Outlook email, contacts, calendar, and notes to find information without having to remember dates, email contents, recipient lists, or sender lists. Its powerful search features allow you to rapidly find virtually anything stored in your Outlook email system, including attachments.

Network Support
It enables you to quickly access information stored in your desktop and network paths. You have full control over indexing and updating information stored in all accessible locations.

Web Sites
It gives you the ability to download information from any website such as letters, articles, reports, or even the whole website. Once all the information is downloaded, it is automatically indexed and made available for searching in Desktop IRIS, allowing you to browse website content even when you are offline.

Tree Pane
Its expandable and collapsible features allow you to search and organize files with a minimal search time at a maximal ease.

Binders Support
This system supports the creation of binders. A binder is a collection of multiple documents in any file format such as Word, PowerPoint, text files, HTML, and other formats. Network IRIS allows users to group these documents into a binder and perform a series of advanced text analytical functions, such as summarization and concept map creation.

Ease-of-use
You only require minimal computer experience to install and use the Desktop IRIS program. You can easily download the program and start searching your desktop computer and Outlook email right away.

Advanced Search
Allows you to search by dates, file types, file sizes, as well as the to and from fields of an email message.
