EZ-Calc for Microsoft Excel Description

Creation of standard excel formulas

* The following applies to all Aged Date Excel Formula Fields
* Knowledge of Excel Date Functions, Excel Text Functions and Excel Formulas is not required when creating Aged Date Fields with EZ-Format, EZ-Chart, EZ-Pivot and EZ-Stat.
* Because Date Agings categorize data and reduce the number of data points, Aged Date fields are perfect for the X-axis and Z-axis in Excel Charts and as a column field in Excel PivotTables and Excel PivotCharts
* Age Dates as of "Today" or as of a "Specific Date"
* Calculate "To" or "From" the specified Aging Date
o "From" is used to Age Dates predominently before the Aging Date
+ As in an Accounts Receivable Aging where "Invoice" dates are in the past
*
o To" is used to Age Dates predominently after the Aging Date
+ As in an Accounts Payable Aging where "Due" dates should be in the future
* The calculated Aging Values can be left, center or right justified
* The new Field Description for the Aged Date Excel Formula field is automatic or user specified
* Aged Date Fields can be created in non-subtotaled and subtotaled Excel Lists beginning in cell A1

* The following applies to "Elapsed Number of Days between two Dates"
* Specify a cut-off maximum number of Elapsed Days to calculate and display
* Elapsed Days greater than the specified cut-off go into a separate displayed overflow value
* Automatically append a default Description (Day / Days) onto the Number of Days Values
* The appended "Description" can be user specified or suppressed

* The following applies to "Elapsed Number of Weeks between two Dates"
* Specify a cut-off maximum number of Elapsed Weeks to calculate and display
* Elapsed Weeks greater than the specified cut-off go into a separate displayed overflow value
* Round calculated Elapsed Weeks down, up or from the middle
* Display the fractional number of Elapsed Weeks in 0-4 decimal positions
* Automatically append a default Description (Week / Weeks) onto the Number of Weeks Values
* The appended "Description" can be user specified or suppressed

* The following applies to "Elapsed Number of Months between two Dates"
* Specify a cut-off maximum number of Elapsed Months to calculate and display
* Elapsed Months greater than the specified cut-off go into a separate displayed overflow value
* Round calculated Elapsed Months down, up or from the middle
* Display the fractional number of Elapsed Months in 0-4 decimal positions
* Automatically append a default Description (Month / Months) onto the Number of Months Values
* The appended "Description" can be user specified or suppressed

* The following applies to the four "Accounting Type" Aged Date Fields
* "Current, 31-60, 61-90 and 90+" with and without "Days" automatically appended
* "Current, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120 120+" with and without "Days" automatically appended
* "Days" is optionally appended onto the appropriate Accounting Type Date Aging Values
* There is no cut-off maximum for Accounting Type Date Agings
* The new Excel Formula Field Description can be automatic or user specified
* Accounting Type Date Aging values sort ascending and descending as shown below:
o "Future, Current, 31-60, 61-90, 90+" for "From" Date Agings
o "Past, Current, 31-60, 61-90, 90+" for "To" Date Agings
o "Future, Current, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120 120+" for "From" Date Agings
o "Past, Current, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120 120+" for "To" Date Agings
