Habanero is an object relational mapping (ORM) architecture for .Net that carries out database persistence

Habanero is a free open source Enterprise Application Framework for .Net. Habanero provides the developer with a tool to produce an agile application, from the data layer through to the front-end. It persists data to and from the database using object relational mapping (ORM), manages business objects to support a rich domain model, and generates user interfaces at runtime to display and edit the mapped data.

Licensing & Support

* Habanero (excluding Firestarter) is distributed under the GNU Lesser GPL license, meaning:
o Any modifications to the source code must be made freely available
o Each modified file must maintain the LGPL license notice at the top
o Each contributor can include their name in the copyright notice
o The libraries may be linked to in proprietary/commercial software
* Firestarter is released for free as a compiled executable
* The libraries may be used royalty-free
* Support is provided in the online forums or by email
