IE Assist was designed based on the Form Filling Extensible Markup Language(FFXML), and written in C++, FFXML was a W3C XML expansion designed by IEAssist Inc, C++ was one of the highest performance programming language, so IE Assist got a top level ability and performance in so many form fillers!

Why IE Assist was created?

Internet was one of the greatest inventions of the twentieth century, most of us witnessed the rise of the internet, at the same time, fill form also became a frequent task, today, the market flooded with a wide range of software products used for filling form, collectively referred to as the "form filler".

In spite of this, it seems that the fill form task was not completed perfect by the existing form fillers: they all need to install, to make matters worse, during the installation, they all install add-ins to the web browser, for example, add-ins for Internet Explorer also known as "Browser Helper Object". After the add-ins installed to the web browser, add-ins will create new running instances with each process of the web browser, each add-in running instance has an independent memory address space, so, our memory was greatly wasted by these kind of things!

Any add-ins such as "Browser Helper Object" installed to the Windows operation system must register itself in the registry before it could work, the registry is the system profile who will be read every time when Windows startup, so, more and more add-ins installed, bigger and bigger the registry, slower and slower the Windows' startup!

The worst thing was that! Add-ins such as "Browser Helper Object" will intercept all operations, events and messages of the web browser, so, it has high demands on the programmer, who will write a perfect add-in that will never impact on the web browser's user experience, unfortunately, most of the fill form add-ins for web browser have been crudely.

Although, hard disk capacity and performance were in the continuous upgrading, but most form fillers' confusion of data storage methods still made us crazy, they wrote to C disk without basis graffiti, this will result in tens of thousands of disk fragmentation, greatly affected the efficiency of the hard disk!

BTW, the size-fits-all Win95 style user interface caused severe visual fatigue!
