A tool for cataloging e-books, multimedia, documents and files on any media type

InfoLayout helps you to create a catalog of your CD, DVD, hard discs, removable and network drives. It is a comfortable software application that keeps a catalog of your files in one place. Add information about your e-books, documents, music, films, pictures and whatever to the InfoLayout catalog and forget about the boring disks flipping.

This is full-featured cataloguer able to extract information from documents, e-books, audio and video files, generate images preview (thumbnails) and retrieve descriptions, document snippets, able to get info from virtually any archive and many more.

Why use InfoLayout?

1. With InfoLayout, you can create thumbnails for pictures and video files on any media including your CD/DVD collection and keep those thumbnails in a single catalog. A friendly user interface allows you to search for music, movies, and any other files with ease. InfoLayout extracts as much information from files as possible, including video streams info, audio tags, and CDDB/freedb information.

2. Search through your files on CD/DVD by content. InfoLayout allows you to use wildcards, phrase search, and fuzzy search. If you need all available information about your documents wherever they are located - even in archives (rar, zip, 7z, etc.), InfoLayout indexes all of them. You can also add notes and descriptions and assign categories to your files for organizing them even further.

3. Share your library and CD/DVD collection info with friends and colleagues. Instead of manually copying/pasting file names, you can create elegant reports with all the necessary information in few clicks. All the information that you need can be included in a report and then sent by e-mail or exported to HTML, PDF, DOC, or other report formats.

InfoLayout is one the most advanced cataloging programs on the market today. Unlike traditional catalogers which just extract file properties and put them into single a description, InfoLayout performs true properties scanning. This means that you can search your files by individual properties like artist or title in music files. Additionally, full-text indexing of your documents' content on discs makes it possible to combine a desktop search tool with features of the file organizer.
