KLS Backup Professional is a powerfull backup, synchronization and disk cleaner program that allows you to back up or synchronize your data to local and network drives, CD/DVD media or FTP (SSL/TLS) server. The cleanup feature is a complete solution to backup and clean private data and free up disk space. The backup files can be stored uncompressed or compressed in standard Zip, Zip64, 7-Zip or SQX format. The program can back up files and folders (from local drives, network locations, FTP servers), registry keys, MySQL databases, email client profiles (Outlook, Oulook Express, Mozilla, Thunderbird), Windows and application settings. Advanced version management, makes possible to find and restore any backup version within seconds. The synchronization feature allows you to easily synchronize the contents of two different folders. Running as a windows service the built-in scheduler provides a powerful automated backup solution.

KLS Backup is a multi-threaded application that executes backup/restore jobs in the background. Start a backup/restore operation and continue your work.
Industry standard ZIP, Zip64, 7-Zip and SQX compression with strong AES encryption.
KLS Backup uses standard Zip, Zip64, 7-Zip or SQX format to compress data. The compressed file size is unlimited. An alternative method is to Copy the files to destination.
Backup/Restore to/from remote FTP server.
KLS Backup allows you to backup data to/from remote FTP, FTP/SSL servers.
Backup/Restore to/from LAN folders.
KLS Backup allows you to backup data from LAN folders, and to backup data to LAN folders.
Backup/Restore Windows Registry keys (with subkeys).
KLS Backup allows you to backup/restore Windows Registry keys.
Use predefined backup items (plugins) to backup your operating system, application and user settings.

Sometimes is very hard to identify exactly which files or registry settings we want to backup. E-mail clients, instant messenger clients and other common programs stores their files in hidden or hard to find folders, or registry keys. KLS Backup helps the backup set creation with predefined backup items (plugins). See the Plugins page for more details.

Advanced archive management.
KLS Backup maintains a library containing a history of backup jobs and the files contained in each backup run. The items of the library are called archives. An archive is created after every backup run. This feature offers a clear view over backup set history, and allows you to keep track of file versions. You can restore any full, incremental or differential archive any time with a single click.

Folder synchronization

The synchronization feature allows you to easily synchronize the contents of two different folders. KLS Backup can synchronize any number of files and directories, located on local disks, network location or FTP server.

Runs as a Windows Service

The Backup Service runs in the background as a Windows Service and executes scheduled tasks without the need of a user session.

Schedule backup task to run daily, weekly, monthly, or at certain times.

KLS Backup uses the integrated Backup Service engine or the Windows Scheduled Tasks agent to schedule unattented backup jobs. You can easily create, edit or delete a scheduled backup, synchronization or cleanup task from KLS Backup.
