Krypshield Description

Provides security and privacy to a user data

Cryptography is the science of keeping secrets secret. This project is based on this concept. Its main objective is to provide security and privacy to a user data. In our project we are providing flexibility to the user to encrypt the files which contain some informational data or he can just encrypt some selected portion in a text file which he does not want to reveal to others. Only window users who have administrative privileges’ can access this software “KRYPSHIELD”.

The functioning of this software is independent to the Microsoft cryptographic services and is able to encrypt the file in using 256 bit & 128 private key encryption methods(applicable when rijndael algorithm is used)

User is also provided with the text editor where he can perform basic string editing and he can also write the data in encrypted form in an xml file. Software is easy to deploy, use and maintenance. Advanced options in which user can choose between three algorithms and a new feature called password protection in which its user password is hashed using Md5 algorithm.

We are providing with the main crux of the project crypto.cs class file along with the setup.
