Localtransformer Description

Localtransformer is a powerful and versatile software, web page, document and database localization

Increase market share and your revenue stream by reaching and entering markets that would have otherwise been unavailable to you.

Localization has been proven to be the key factor for international product acceptance and success. To sell to foreign markets you need to speak the language of your customer. Research has clearly indicated that computer users prefer to work with software in their native language.

Localtransformer provides productivity, quality assurance (including numerous validations and automatic fixes of errors), project management and export / import functions that enhance the whole localization process and improve the collaboration between the development team and the translator team. It is not necessary to provide access to your source code to the translators. Localtransformer supports over 13 platforms.

With Localtransformer you can re-use translations by using Translation Memories (TMX). Localtransformer also provides pseudo translation for localizability testing i.e. make a translation simulation in order to verify that the application can be easily translated to any language without re-engineering or making code modifications. Moreover, Localtransformer provides live statistics and project reports. It also provides automatic machine translation by using Google Translate to shorten the time and cost for translating.

How it works
Localtransformer extracts and segments the text items to be translated from the software, the web page, the document or the database. Afterwards, the items to be translated are being sent to the translator without giving access to the actual source code.

Segments of text to be translated , that are similar, do not have to be translated twice. Instead of this , they are being translated automatically. Also, Localtransformer is equiped with a translation memory. Therefore, items that are in the translation memory from other projects , or previous versions of the same project, do not have to be translated twice.

Localtransformer improves the collaboration of the development team with the translator team via the Exchange Wizard. It also provides automatic machine translation by using Google Translate.
