MaxType PRO can help you become more productive with your PC and use your time more effectively. The following functional features are available in the FREE Professional Edition:

* Measures typing speed in CPS, CPM or WPM
* Measures typing speed for each hand
* Generates beautirul reports for each typing mode with a lot of statistical data which can be printed
* Supports all Windows operating systems starting from Windows 95! Runs perfectly in Windows Vista.
* The following 6 different modes of learning will make the learning process varied and interesting:

1. The Lesson Mode is the base for the training course. You will have to learn 21 lessons step by step, each consisting of four parts: INFORMATION, ADAPTATION, IMPROVISATION and REALIZATION. A grade given on a 100-point scale at the end of the lesson will stimulate you to improve your skills.

2. The Problem Symbols Mode allows generating a random exercise with a desired concentration of symbols which are troublesome for you and decrease the accuracy considerably. You have a possibility to convert your demerits into merits!

3. The Extreme Typing mode is an effective means of working on your typing speed. It allows you to compete with an opponent, who can be set according to your typing level, for a typing speed in a chosen text. Another unique feature of this mode is that the record of your own typing (a MTR file) at a wanted replay speed (from 0.1x to 4.0x) can be your opponent.

4. The Typing Test mode gives a possibility of statistical evaluation of your typing according to 20 (!) parameters of any txt-file.

5. The Exam Mode will be a real trial when mastering a touch typing technique. It allows passing one of four Tests in extreme and accurate use of the touch typing technique in an appropriate row of the keyboard. Your diligence and persistence will be appreciated at their true worth and deserve medals of highest order!

6. The Network Challenge Mode provides you unique possibility to compete in speed of typing with any user in local network on any TXT file. You and your opponent will type the same text simultaneously, the only thing is to finish typing earlier than your opponent. This typing mode reminds Extreme Typing mode where your opponent is a real man.

The integrated system of recommendations will give you recommendations concerning further training according to the results of your typing after you have completed typing in modes 1,2,3. MaxType PRO Typing Tutor will develop a training program especially for you!

The information panel allows you to control the process of keyboard learning: input the number of hours per week you are going to spend on learning, and the program will survey the accomplishment of the schedule fixed.

Daily and weekly reports on work done will shatter your illusions and reflect your real progress within the past period.

Files with your lessons recorded will be saved in the history, and will reflect the dynamics of your learning. You can look through any file of your typing record and visually appraise your technique and typing speed from the outside!
