Ever since we started building & selling the open* Koan generative music tools in the early 90's, our customers told us that what they enjoyed most about our idea creation tools most was using them to mix or make their own unique generative music, and we've continued that philosophy.

The open Mixtikl system uniquely lets you easily mix together generative "parts" with loops & sound FX to create your own custom mixes. Mixtikl 2 is already packed with power and yet is still young as a tool. We update it regularly, so try the demos & keep coming back!

We've always had the view that our generative music tools should be available on as many platforms as possible. That's because everyone is different and has different devices, computers and tool chains. And who knows what you are going to have with you when you feel creative! It also means that the generative music that you create can be heard by the largest audience - quite a factor in these (still) early and formative years for generative music.
