Mp3CoolPlay-X Description

Mp3CoolPlay-X is a media player/encoder capable of playing/encoding various types of music file formats

the build-in formats include:

MPEG music files: .mp3, .mp2, .mp1
Ogg vorbis files: .ogg
FastTracker modules: .xm, .mod
Ogg, mp3 modules: .oxm, .mo3
Audio CD's: .cda
Unreal Tournament modules: .umx
Wave files: .wav

Mp3CoolPlay-X can also play additional formats by using decoder plugins.

Mp3CoolPlay-X is able to decode music to 32-bit sample data, this greatly enhances the audio quality and does not as easy distort DSP effects as 16-bit tends to do. Offcourse, Mp3CoolPlay-X can also be configured to play in 16-bit mode. This way it also supports older sound cards as well, Mp3CoolPlay-X auto detects if the soundcard does support 32-bit output.

Aldough Mp3CoolPlay-X is small in size, it has many features build in. Some nice features are a 32-bit DSP effects engine, playlist library and STDIN encoder support, using encoders you are able to convert supported files to any other encoder supported format. This also includes CD-Ripping and fomat to format encoding.

* Mp3CoolPlay-X is freeware. (You won't find spyware, adware or any of that crap in Mp3CoolPlay-X)
* Mp3CoolPlay-X uses the BASS sound engine. (For the best possible audio quality Mp3CoolPlay-X uses the BASS sound engine)
* Plugin support. (You can use Visual, DSP and other plugins that add extra functions to Mp3CoolPlay-X)
* Playlist library. (Keep track of your playlists using Mp3CoolPlay's Playlis Library)
* Fast file loading. (Mp3CoolPlay-X is very fast in loading songs to it's playlist, it will add the time to a song when you play it)
* Resume on start. (When you close Mp3CoolPlay-X it will remember the place in the song and resumes from there when you restart it)*
* Tray icon. (With this on, Mp3CoolPlay-X will minimize to the tray instead of minimizing to the taskbar)*
* HTML playlist writing. (Mp3CoolPlay-X can write HTML playlists you can put on your website)
* Streaming audio support. (Mp3CoolPlay-X can play ShoutCast and IceCast streams)
* Stream ripping (Mp3CoolPlay-X has a build-in internet stream ripper, this can be used to save streams directly to your harddrive)*
* High quality 32-Bit audio output (Mp3CoolPlay-X uses a high quality 32-Bit audio decoder for maximum output quality)*
* STDIN encoder support (Mp3CoolPlay-X can be used as a CD-Ripper / encoder, its also possible to convert files between any format.
