Templates and Sample Applications
NetBeans IDE offers you skeleton applications in the shape of project templates for all the technologies it is compatible with. Additionally, it grants a set of sample applications, some of which can be recreatedd step by step by following an associated tutorial available on NetBeans.org.
The IDE offers project templates and sample projects that help you generate Java SE applications, Java ME applications, HTML5 applications, Java EE applications, PHP application, NetBeans Platform applications, and C/C++ applications.
Databases and Services
The Services window offers you access to many ancillary resources, like databases, web services, servers, and issue trackers.
You can stop and start databases and servers straight in the IDE. When working with databases, you can remove, add, and modify your information in the IDE. When you have deployed an program to a server, you can administrate your deployed resources because they are showed in the Servers node.
You can link to a bug database, such as Bugzilla or Issuezilla, and list problem reports for your project right in the IDE.
While using the IDE, you can always navigate to Plugin Manager from the Tools menu to remove, add, or update the installed set of features.
A large range variety of plugins are ready to use for all types of development, from Java EE, Java SE, Java ME, Groovy, HTML5, and PHP to C/C++ development.
