PokerMemento Description

A tool able to store, replay and analyze your poker games

PokerMemento is able to store, replay and analyze your poker games. Both Texas Hold'em, Omaha and 7 Card Stud are supported. The extensible hand history parser comes with a complete API which gives support for almost any poker client.

PokerMemento began as a hobby project back in 2005. Those were the days when it was not completely clear to me that the glorious ace-flush was actually beaten by a full house. Looking through my cluttered hand history files to understand my mistakes, I soon realized the need for a graphical representation. I searched the Net for a utility to replay my games, but nowhere to be found. Fortunately, I was ready for the challenge to create it!

In an early phase, PokerMemento was able to replay manually entered game actions. This was too tiresome! The hand history files had to somehow be parsed and then replayed. With hand history files from different poker sites, the parser had to be highly dynamic. I wanted to separate the parser from the rest of the code, so a scripting language was needed. Parsing, replaying, parsing, replaying. Still no fun! I wanted to manage my games, and be able to search for particular hands. This was a great opportunity to learn SQL properly! A game database was finally implemented and suddenly PokerMemento became quite useful. Now I had to finish it...

That... was hard!

Today, PokerMemento is able to import, store, manage, replay and analyze both cash and tournament games. The engine currently supports Texas Hold'em, Omaha and 7-Card Stud. In addition, a bunch of "Nice to have"-features were implemented on-the-fly. I could continue improving the software forever (and I will), but it's more fun to share it with the rest of the world's poker players.

Import your hand history files
PokerMemento lets you import poker games from text-based hand history files, and store them in a single database file. A well-designed scripting language makes the parser highly dynamic, capable of parsing almost any poker game log. See list of available scripts.

Manage your games
Search for games matching certain criteria, grade your games and describe their characteristics.

Capture new games
PokerMemento can import games from newly created hand history files. When this feature is activated, you can keep your PokerMemento synchronized with your log files.

Trying to describe your brilliant bluff to a poker friend? Let PokerMemento do it for you, and you won't miss any details!

Analyze your games
Run SQL queries, and display statistical charts of your games. You can create your own queries, to view the information you are interested in.
