Polar Navy is working to bring you cross-platform, practical marine navigation applications

PolarView is a user friendly full-featured marine chart planner. It provides native look and feel on Apple Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows and Linux. Best of all, it's free!

PolarView features include:

* High-quality fast display of S57/S63 vector charts and BSB raster charts
* Complete passage planning: edit routes and manage waypointds with a click of a mouse
* Tides and currents display
* GRIB weather viewer with a built-in free GRIB download
* GPX format support: exchange route and waypoint data with most GPS devices

Supported charts can be obtained from many sources, including:

* NOAA S57 ENC charts
* US Army Corps of Engineers S57 inland charts
* NOAA BSB raster charts
* Worldwide S63 ENC coverage by ChartWorld
* S63 charts are available from many hydrographic agencies worldwide, including United Kingdom and Canada
