Automated Video Compression for HD Digital Media

ProxyMill is a simple-to-use tool that saves time. Directly convert any HD media, such as Canon 5D/7D, Panasonic P2 or AVCHD, Sony XDCam, JVC, etc. into sharable movie files in one step. Just select the media type to watch for, or Drag and Drop HD volumes into the queue.

Selectable compression settings and codecs allow output of multiple formatted clips at the same time. For example, create low resolution proxies with burned in Timecode and your company logo for the web or sharing with clients, while making higher quality self-contained clips for off-line editing without watermarking.

Unattended Processing
Designate one or more "Watch Folders" and choose compression settings. When HD files are detected in a "Watch Folder", proxies are automatically created and placed in the combined "Proxy Output Folder". Watch a ShotPut Pro offload destination to simultaneously make proxy copies while copying card contents.

Compression Presets
Comes with built-in commonly used Preset Compression Settings for MPEG-4 movies. Add your own watermark to these, or create your own custom preset--select the codec (MPEG-1, MPEG-4, H.264, WMV, FLASH), sizes, bit rates, sound sample rates and tracks.

Merge Clips
Automatically stitch long, camera separated spanned proxy clips back together for smooth, consolidated playback. Or merge together entire folders of clips together including original timecode tracks. (Perfect for sharing with clients or loggers.)

Timecode Burn and Watermarking
Add a visual timecode track directly burned-into the video image. Adjust size, color, and position of the timecode in the intuitive Preview window. Easily customize the position of your company logo or other graphic onto the proxies.
