Sense Personal Edition Description

Sense is a useful outlining editor with two closely synchronized editing panes

The Sense Document Editor has two closely synchronized editing panes providing big picture and detail document views making it useful for outlining.

With extensive information cross-referencing and internet hyperlinking support, Sense provides the ideal platform for gathering information efficiently.

Material may be rapidly navigated, moved between levels and re-arranged into expandable / collapsible Headed Sections (chapters) and Numbered Paragraph based Multilevel Lists using both menu and shortcut options.

Paragraph numbering is dynamically updated within a document-wide scheme that is easily changed from selectable and part customizable formatting options.

A separately available RTF (Rich Text Format) Plugin provides Import / Export capability allowing document transfer between your favoured finalization editor and Sense.

Multi-selection enables scattered content to be grouped speedily for both Export and Lean-Green Printing saving time, cost and environmental impact.

Line and page count measures along with context sensitive character and word tracking enables target limitations to be met when writing an essay.

Robust line-to-line cross-references between Sense documents are easily made without the need of establishing cumbersome and unreliable bookmarks.

Bookmarks can be created when needed, though, if only for compatibility with RTF (for Microsoft Word) and HTML.

Sense intra/inter-document cross-referencing also provides time-saving benefits with its Preview feature allowing any number of linked notes to be viewed simultaneously.

The editor may be used for HTML Editing and RSS Feed Authoring in plain text when used with the freeware Sense To Webpage and Sense To RSS tools.

On-the-fly Language selection allows multilanguge editing.

Unicode, ISO-8859 and Windows Codepage encoding options provide control over file output.
