SenseFind Description

Provides a graphical interface for dictionary browsing, text editing, TTS reading, audio recording

It allows also monitoring, displaying of meanings and reading of words or text selected in other text processing applications such as internet browsers and editors.

- Customized access to Web Dictionary, Encyclopedia and Search for the selected word.

Components

The most important components of the SenseFind application include the small balloon window containing short description of the word meaning which appears after double clicking on the word in other applications or after merely pointing with the mouse cursor on the word within SenseFind itself.

The main component is the SenseFind GUI window containing several subwindows.

The Text Editing Subwindow is positioned in the upper part of the GUI window. It allows all basic file editing functions Undo, Redo, Copy, Paste, Find and Replace.

Dictionary Meaning Subwindow at the bottom-right of the application window. It displays all meanings of the selected word in greater details. The text is not editable..

Dictionary List Subwindow is on the bottom left of the GUI window. It is the panel with the "Dictionary" tab on the top. It displays list of words from the dictionary starting with the current word as a substring and the following words from the dictionary.

History List Subwindow is on the bottom left of the GUI window. It is the panel with the "History" tab on the top. It displays list of words from the history ordered from the last to the first.

Current Word Editing Field is in the middle of the GUI window on the left. The words can be directly typed in this field or they are automatically copied from other subwindows within our application by clicking on them or they are automatically copied from other applications by double clicking or highlighting them and subsequently clicking on the dictionary balloons.
