Simple Sync Description

Enable data synchronization between Android 2.2 and greater and Microsoft Outlook 2007 via WiFi

To enable sync it is necessary to add Simple Sync account in the Android: Settings - Accounts and synchronization - Add account. And to pair with PC - start Simple Sync - Pair with PC, fill in IP address or hostname and port (this info is displayed in windows application status bar).

You may want also to enable particular service synchronization in the Simple Sync account.

Synchronization is started by standard Android means. Task, Notes and Categories sync can be started automatically with data change (in Android device). Contacts are not synchronized automatically.

To show synchronized contacts this setting must be activated in Contacts application. For HTC devices Contacts are synchronized as Phone contacts.

In devices with proprietary Contacts applications contacts can be invisible or impossible to edit or remove them (use e.g. free market app Contact Remover).

Contact picture is downloaded to the Android only if contact did not have a one.

Outlook data are removed to deleted items folder.
