SpatialViewer Description

Easily view and create spatial data

This is a project to develop an application for easily viewing and creating spatial data.

The curent release has the current featres:

1. New maninpulation context menu on the geometry grid
1. Allows you to combine geometries using the spatial methods STDifference, STIntersection, STSymDifference, STUnion
2. Generates a new shape based on the method selected
3. Selects and highlights the new geometry
2. New property context menu on the geometry grid
1. Allows you to display the result of one of the geometry returning spatial methods, STEnvelope, STExteriorRing, STPointOnSurface
2. Generates a new shape base on the method selected
3. Selects and highlights the new geometry
3. TSQL Creation script
1. Displays a TSQL script for the generation of the geometries that are selected
4. TSQL Log script
1. Generates a script to perform the same actions that are performed using the property and manipulation context menus above.
5. Hover functionality to select shapes as you move the mouse over them
6. Hover functionality to display the area of a polygon as you move the mouse over them
7. Change drawing grid size
8. Added labels for the drop downs, zoom and grid size
9. Added status bar
10. Display current location in the status bar
11. Corrected anchoring of the Add Valid button
12. Draw points, Lines and polygons
13. Auto close lines and polygons
14. Draw with Freehand or with fixed lines(using shift key)
15. Zoom in and out of drawing (scroll bars not yet implemented)
16. Enter 1 or geometries by text.
17. Text Geometries are validated and errors displayed
18. Display geometries in text and graphical form
19. Select and highlight geometries from a grid
20. Select geometries using drawing pane by using another geometry (lasso style selction)
21. Snap to grid. Restricts points to whole numbers
