Spider Player is a skinnable audio player with full support for all major audio formats: MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG, FLAC and others. Its most interesting features include audio streaming, integration with Shoutcast and Icecast radio directories, lossless Internet radio recording, advanced CD Ripping and Converting capabilities, FreeDB integration, 32-bit sound processing for crystal-clear sound, customizable local and global hotkeys and crossfading support. Spider Player is small and blazingly fast, and uses very few system resources.

Spider Player supports nearly thirty audio formats including most popular ones. You can use it to play music from your audio collection, stream files from the Internet and listen to Internet radio.

Spider Player can rip CDs, convert any supported files to different formats and record Internet radio with no quality loss. All essential features, like ten-band graphic equalizer with various presets, local and global hotkeys support, playlist and favorites editors, are present too.

* 32-bit sound processing for crystal clear sound
Spider Player can process sound with double precision internally. So even if your sound card is not capable of output in such resolution, the sound quality is still improved. The difference is especially noticeable, if DSP effects (such as peaking equalizer) are enabled.
* Streaming audio support
Stream files from the Internet or LAN and listen to Internet radio.
* Internet radio recording
Spider Player Basic can continuously record any Internet streams for up to 5 minutes to MP3 format, while in Spider Player PRO recording time is not limited. PRO version also allows to achieve the best possible quality by using lossless recording for any MP3 and AAC+ streams, i.e. an exact audio copy of an Internet stream is created, with both format and bitrate preserved.
* Radio Directory
Discover thousands of radio stations around the globe with fast and easy search in Shoutcast and Icecast radio directories right within Spider Player.
* Custom Hotkeys
Assign up to four local or global hotkeys of your choice to any program's action and have all of the tools and functions at your fingertips. Multimedia keyboards are supported as well as regular ones.
* Multiformat Playback
Audio formats supported are: MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, M4A, AAC, AAC+, AC3, MPC, MP+, MPP, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, Ogg FLAC, TTA, APE, WavPack, Speex, WAV, CDDA, WMA, MID, RMI, KAR, S3M, XM, MOD, IT, MO3, MTM, UMX.
* Converter and CD Ripper
Any supported audio file (see the list of supported audio formats above) or Audio CD track can be easily encoded to MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC or WavPack format. Basic version allows to encode only one track at a time, while PRO version can be used for batch encoding. With Spider Player PRO you can also use any command-line encoder with STDIN support. There is even a help on encoders' command line options and a preset manager.
* Support for custom MIDI soundfonts
Spider Player allows you to choose SF2 soundfont used for MIDI playback to vary how your MIDI files sound. It is also possible to convert MIDI files to MP3 and other formats using soundfonts that suit them best.
* DSP Effects Manager
DSP effects manager allows you to apply several high-quality 32-bit DSP effects simultaneously in any order. Winamp DSP plugins are supported too.
* Unified Tag editor
Edit ID3v1, ID3v2, Vorbis, FLAC tags and WMA metadata (support for additional tag types and file formats can be added via plugins).
* Portable version
You can place Spider Player on your USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive or a CD and use it on any computer, without the need of installation or administrator rights.
