Enter SQL Data Sets, the Windows application that helps you share, annotate, and export SQL result sets from SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and ODBC data sources easily and securely. SQL Data Sets lets you save the results of your database queries in a single file called a ‘package’, which can be opened by anyone using SQL Data Sets, or the FREE SQL Data Sets Viewer, without the need to install any other software. Of course, you can also protect your package files with passwords, to prevent unauthorised access.

Use SQL to extract your data
Use the SQL syntax applicable to your database engine to extract the data set you need. Run queries to generate multiple data sets if your database engine supports them.

Add notes to your data
Make your data set more informative by attaching notes to your exported file, individual data sets and even to individual cells!

Create a single file from multiple data sets
A single package file can contain multiple data sets, from different data sources. Imagine - your package file can contain a data set from an Oracle query, and another from SQL Server. And your users can even run their own queries against those 2 data sets, without having to connect to either the original Oracle or SQL Server databases!

Create smaller, secure files
SQL Data Sets automatically compresses your data sets, generating significantly smaller files compared to those generated by your standard database tools. It can also protect them with a password, so you never have to worry should the file fall into the wrong hands.

Give your users complete control over the data sets
Using the FREE SQL Data Sets Viewer, your users can:

- view and sort the data sets
- query the data sets further, without having to connect to your database
- view images, and also identify common file types that may be stored in binary columns
- print out the data sets
