XLQ Description

XLQ delivers live and historic worldwide stock market data for use in Microsoft Excel

You may download a fully functional version of XLQ, (with no features disabled or nag screens etc.). This allows you to evaluate XLQ at no cost or risk.

If you decide to keep using XLQ, you must register by clicking the Purchase option above and following instructions. The registration process uses secure forms. Upon registering, you will immediately receive your registration code, which will allow you to continue using the product past the initial evaluation period.

The evaluation period is 45 days, after which the program will warn you that the evaluation period will expire, and if XLQ continues running unregistered, no new data will be retrieved, although XLQ will continue to function and you may continue evaluating it with previously retrieved data.

If you decide not to register, you may simply uninstall XLQ from the Control Panel Add/Remove Program option.

XLQ connects automatically to excel allowing you to work with data in a layout and format that you want, allowing for complex in-depth analysis to simple portfolio management. If you know how to use excel, you already know how to use xlq. (an example xlqDemo.xls is provided with the install)
Simply enter =xlqPrice("YHOO") into an Excel cell and you will begin receiving up to date data for Yahoo! automatically.
Enter =xlqhVolume("msft",-1) will automatically display yesterdays volume for Microsoft.
Enter =xlqhHighestHigh("IBM","1/1/2007") and xlq will return the highest price for IBM since the beginning of the year.
