Disco XT DJ Description

Allows much more control over music playback and scheduling than traditional media players

Disco XT is fequently used by DJs in public events and parties. Disco XT has the tools needed for perfect playback, including microphone input, automation, headphone listening, effects and iTunes/Windows Media Player support just to name a few.

Integrates with your media player
Use the songs and playlists in your iTunes or Windows Media Library in Disco XT. No setup or importing is needed. iTunes store purchased songs can only be played on Mac.

Hands-free
With a touch of a button, you may put Disco XT to automix mode. So if you want to take a break when DJ mixing at a party, you can!

Fades
Disco XT features many different fades, from short to long, from steep to gentle. You may use the many different fades with Automix and with manual mixing as well..

Disco XT also comes with a built-in fade editor. Create your very own fades and transitions to suite your needs. If a special occasion needs a transition that has three seconds gap between the songs you can create one with the fade editor.
Effects and EQs
Disco XT comes with a high quality effects suite. Including EQs, reverb, filters.
Disco XT has a 10-band equalizer to match your music and sound to different locations and enviroments from outdoors to small rooms.

BPM detection
BPM or Beats Per Minute is a unit used to measure the tempo of music. Disco XT has an automatic BPM detection feature that is able to analyze your songs to discover these BPM values. You may use the BPM values to ease your mixing and playlist creation. For example, you can make your playlist start with slower songs and move to faster songs incrementally.

BPM values are discovered automatically when songs are loaded to decks. Shortly after loading a song, the BPM will be visible in the mixer of Disco XT. Disco XT can also process BPM values for your playlists or even for your entire library.

Sample playback
Load short audio clips to the sample decks. Show's start tunes, end tunes, sound effects and others. You may have up to six different samples loaded at a time. Play sample with a press of a button.

Microphone
Use your headset or mic with Disco XT and talk over your mix. You may give announcements or talk about your upcoming songs. Disco XT has a talkover button to reduce music playback while talking.

Edit start and end points
Set precise start and end times for the songs on your playlist. Cut out intros from the beginning of a song and set the song to move to next in advance.

Customize list columns
Yoy may freely select the information that is shown for songs, like 'Artist', 'Genre' 'Composer', 'Bit Rate' and many more. You may set different columns information for the library and the playlist.

Loops
Tune up your mixes with loops, set Disco XT to seamleslly loop a part of a song on the fly.

Keyboard control
Disco XT has keyboard controls for pretty much every action and control of the software. The keyboard mappings can be freely edited to anything you like, this ensures that the software suites any special needs.
